Welcome back to KIP! We are so happy to see all of you today. We know this will be a great social and learning experience for you and your children.
The KIP staff are the best qualified around. Their dedication and longevity make our curriculum and program as awesome as it is.
Please note that regular school hours start today, August 18. You can bring all school paperwork to the KIP office or to your child’s classroom any day this week.
All August tuition is due this week. Tuition payments must be made by the 5th of each month for the following months: August, September, October, November, January, February, March, April, and May. This year, to help around the holidays, we’ve made December a payment holiday. Make sure your payment is in an envelope with your child’s name on the front. Late charges will be assessed after the 5th.
Starting the 18th we will have carpool at 11:50, 12:50, 2:50, and 3:50. If you pick up your child after 4:00, use your code to enter the building.
We will have forms in the office starting on the 18th to sign up for you unique 6-digit code. This code will allow you to enter the building; returning parents have been automatically assigned last year’s codes.
Starting Monday, August 29, all parents must use their codes every morning. If I am at the door or someone opens the door, you must still key in your code. State licensing requires that parents code in for accountability purposes daily. Please do not allow anyone access to the building unless you know who they are.
Please continue to check out this website for menus and regular updates. Thanks to Jessica Goldstein and Matthew Whitworth for all their hard work.
We need KIP board members! If you are interested, please call Megan Hoskins at 456-2460 or let me know. Room parent sign-up sheets are outside the classrooms. Being a room parent or board members requires a minimal time commitment and will give you an inside look at the school and your child’s experience in it. We want you to be involved.
Yesterday you were given cashbooks to sell for our fall fundraiser. They have lots of local restaurants and other popular businesses in them. Every family needs to sell 5 cashbooks for their child; a family with multiple children at KIP needs to sell 8. Profits from this fundraiser go to special programming like Spanish, music, and other specialty classes and helps us to maintain and upgrade facilities like our computer lab.
Once again, welcome back to KIP—we are so happy to have you as part of our school family.
Shary
